For your stay at the IRGLM, you will need to bring the following personal effects:
The establishment also provides various other facilities (parking, cafeteria, etc.) to make your stay more pleasant.
- Visitors are generally permitted every day from 9:00 to 21:00. Certain restrictions may sometimes apply.
- Access to treatment rooms is prohibited to visitors unless a specific request to that effect is made by the therapist.
➢ Rooms
- The cost of a public room is covered by the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) for all who fall under this plan.
- A supplement is required for private or semi-private rooms, as per their availability.
➢ Meals
- Meals are free for all admitted and ambulatory patients. The cost of a visitor meal is charged to any patient who has an outpatient clinic consult after being discharged and who wishes to have a meal in the cafeteria.
- You may have your meals in the cafeteria as soon as your condition allows you to do so.
- Unless contra-indicated, you may order meals from outside the establishment.
➢ Snacks

- Personal TV set and personal stereos are not allowed in the rooms.
- TV sets with VHS and DVDs are available in the solarium of every care unit.
- Should you wish to rent a TV set during your stay, you can fill in the rental form available from the care unit displays.
➢ Telephone
- All rooms are equipped with phones.
- To make a local outside call, dial 9 followed by the number you wish to reach.
- Long distance calls must be made through the establishment's operator (dial 0). Long distance charges must be paid using a calling card or by reversing the charges of your call.
- The use of cellular phones is prohibited in the establishment.
➢ Animals
Service dogs are the only animals admitted in the establishment.
➢ Personal effects you should bring with you
For your stay at the IRGLM, you will need to bring the following personal effects:
- Toiletries: soap, shampoo, deodorant, powder, razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, paper tissues, sanitary napkins, tampons, etc.
- Clothing: pyjamas, bath robe, closed slippers with non-slip soles, shoes with non-slip soles, short-sleeved sweaters, long-sleeved sweaters, shorts or bermudas, jogging suit, bathing suit, season-appropriate exterior clothing.
- Medications taken before your stay so that the physician can identify them.
- Eyeglasses, dentures, hearing aids, orthoses, prosthesis, wheelchair used before your stay.
- Pen, pencil, paper, address book, pocket money, etc.
- Clothes detergent, if you intend to used the laundry facilities are at your disposal in the establishment.
