The Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal (IRGLM) hosts the Centre régional d’information, de démonstration et d’évaluation des aides techniques (CRIDEAT). (Regional Center for information, demonstration and evaluation of technical aids)
The CRIDEAT offers consultations to all health care workers as well as to persons with physical limitations. It provides guidance in their search for the tools that will help them carry out the activities of daily life (feeding themselves, personal hygiene, etc.) and improve their independence.
The CRIDEAT relies especially on its classification of technical aids, which is used routinely by many organizations and establishments of the health care network.
