For the repair or preventive maintenance of your wheelchair beyond the warranty period, schedule an appointment today with one of the mechanics of our wheelchair repair department team.

If your wheelchair is still under warranty, the institution where you obtained your wheelchair is responsible for getting the warranty honoured by the manufacturer.

Who?
The Emergency corrective maintenance service is designed to provide assistance to people with manual or motorized wheelchairs who are immobilized (on the street, at home, at work or at school) due to a breakdown of their wheelchair and who are completely deprived of their mobility.
How?
Major repairs are not made on the spot. The cause of the problem is identified and eliminated so that the wheelchair can be used again by its owner.
The client may have to schedule an appointment with the technical aids department of the IRGLM for further inspection or for additional repairs to be made to the device.
How long does it take?
Calls received are prioritized according to four levels of urgency so that the people who are the most in need get service first. The calls are therefore handled by order of priority and not according to the time the call was received.
When?
The Emergency corrective maintenance service is offered from 8:30 to 23:30 seven days a week except for January 1 and December 25.
Where?
The service is available in the Montreal region exclusively (including Saint-Helen's Island, l’île Notre-Dame, l’Île-Bizard and Nun's Island).
How much?
The service is free for people who own a wheelchair covered by the RAMQ.
For users with wheelchairs not covered by the RAMQ, the hourly rate is $55,56 for travel and repairs. Parts are billed additionally.
Payment can be made using Visa, MasterCard and cash (no cheques).
