To obtain a wheelchair, an occupational therapist, will first evaluate your needs and capacities in order to choose a wheelchair that will provide you with the greatest possible autonomy.
Our physiatrists, positioning technicians and mechanics will also be involved in the process so that your wheelchair is perfectly adapted.
➢ Covering the cost of a wheelchair
There are eligibility requirements, often complex, that need to be met for a wheelchair to be paid by an organization (RAMQ, SAAQ, CSST).

We can also offer wheelchairs with special control features (for example, operation other than by a hand held control, such as foot, chin or breath). Our team has outstanding expertise in adaptive controls for people presenting with severe physical limitations.
