TEACHING AT THE IRGLM
➢ Teaching – The heart and soul of the mission of the IRGLM
The Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay-de-Montréal (IRGLM) has the following vision of its teaching mission:
To foster a stimulating, dynamic and innovative rehabilitation teaching environment within an interdisciplinary framework that includes best practices and research.
The teaching mission of the IRGLM is based on providing students in training with clinical and rehabilitation clerkships in all disciplines and the promotion of knowledge sharing and professional development of healt care workers.
➢ Teaching – The heart and soul of the practice
At the Institut de réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay de Montréal, teaching is closely intertwined with patient care, whether hospitalized or treated on an out-patient basis within our client programs or seen at one of our out-patient clinics.
Through dynamic and rigorous teaching programs, we develop knowledge as well as professional qualifications in our students and students in training with the view to offer quality rehabilitation care and services.
It is also our wish that our clerkship programs bring about pertinent research questions thus enabling progress.
A stay at the IRGLM is a very real immersion in an environment where interdisciplinarity is not just a word but a fact of every day life!
